Scruffs™ "Scarf" Inventor Patti Russo
Patti Russo is one of our newest crafter friends - sort of. Patti has been crafting for herself for decades and is an accomplished decorator, cook, faux-painter and seamstress, so she's not really new to crafting. In addition to being a friend of many years, she is also John's sister. She has always been overflowing with artistic ideas and finally has taken the plunge to begin her crafting business with her signature item, Scruffs™.
Scruffs™ are an original design of Patti's. They are an accessory worn around the neck and are made of comfortable fabric like a scarf, but that's where the similarity ends. Unlike a scarf, they are designed to cascade elegantly from shoulder to shoulder providing an attractive fullness to the bust. Each is also adorned with beads and/or tassels.
Coming in a seemingly endless variety of colors and weights, the Scruffs™ can be comfortably worn in any season. Use them to accent a formal gown, a plain blouse or even a simple t-shirt. They come in two sizes and range in price from 20-25 dollars. They can be purchased directly from the artist at craft shows in and around New Jersey.
