Ocean City Tabernacle Farmer's Market

The Ocean City Farmer’s Market takes place every Wednesday morning from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ocean City Tabernacle which is located between 5th and 6th avenues and Asbury and Wesley Avenues.

The Ocean City Tabernacle itself is located on the site where the town fathers Ezra B. Lake, James Lake, S. Wesley Lake and William Burrell originally met beneath a tall cedar tree which still remains in the lobby of the building. An Ocean City landmark, the Ocean City Tabernacle includes a large as life depiction of Noah’s Ark that’s hard to miss on its south facing wall (6th Avenue).

Now in its 10th season, the Ocean City Farmer’s Market features locally grown New Jersey Fresh produce picked by local farmers. Mixed in with the farmers are a hand-picked selection of talented crafters and artisans who we feel privileged to be included with.

The market is sponsored by the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce and runs from June 24th thru August 26th. The Chamber does an excellent job in organizing and running the market and keeping it a clean safe and pleasant way to spend part of your morning. Much of the credit goes to Helen Clark who manages the market and can be found in her cozy little cottage in the center of the layout or strolling around chatting with locals and visitors alike.
